Hi I’m Rachel, founder of Arlo Keepsakes, and Mum of…

… if only it were that simple.

I have been pregnant NINE times.

I have felt FIVE babies kick.

I have had FOUR caesarean sections.

And today I have THREE beautiful children alive in my arms.

OUR STORY

My husband and I start our journey into parenthood, and before we know it, we're blessed with two amazing boys. Life's good, right? But deep down, we feel like someone’s missing.

Then, along comes baby number three. We're over the moon...

...until we hit 17 weeks and learn that August had passed away. Heartbreaking doesn't even begin to cover it. And just when we think we've hit rock bottom, at 38 weeks, our 4th baby, Arlo is stillborn. The pain is unbearable.

But wait, there's more.

We go through the gut-wrenching pain of losing three more babies, including a twin miscarriage. It's a dark time, filled with questions and guilt.

Losing our babies taught us that time waits for no one.

With Willow’s arrival we embarked on a trip of a lifetime

We travel around Australia for two years...

...soaking up slow mornings in beautiful places with our three earthly children and ending each day under the stars, feeling connected to the babies in our hearts.

We travel around Australia for two years...

...soaking up slow mornings in beautiful places with our three earthly children and ending each day under the stars, feeling connected to the babies in our hearts.

Whilst traveling Australia, I find myself deeply connected to my babies in the most unexpected places ... in the soft hues of first light, in the night sky, with its shimmering stars and the quiet moments in between.

These moments make me crave a way to keep them close, to have a space where their memory is apart of my everyday life without having to search for it.

I want to share this sense of peace and connection with other loss Mama's and Arlo Keepsakes was founded.

Every piece I create is designed to be apart of your everyday life, always within reach and never hidden away. They create a sacred place where you can feel close to your baby. They capture your baby in a way that lets you hold onto them, feel them, and keep your connection alive. They're all about honouring your baby's life and finding comfort in knowing they're always there with you, in a way that's real and lasting.
